Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you’re not, then as long as an item is still in its original condition, we will accept returns or exchange items for you, subject to the rules below. None of these affect your statutory rights.

If you return an item requesting a refund within 28 days of delivery/collection, we'll give you a full refund. Your refund will be issued using your original payment method.  We don't accept returns for unwanted items after this period.

We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

What To Do:

  • Email us at marketplaceDH1@exeter.ac.uk to let us know you want to make a return or exchange your item(s).
  • Please use the original packaging, if possible, to package your item(s).
  • Include a note of your full name, order number and whether you would like a refund or exchange.
  • Post back to our address: Market Place DH1, Devonshire House, University of Exeter, Stocker Road, Exeter, EX4 4PZ.
  • Include your address on the back of the parcel.

We will let you know when we receive your parcel and to let you know that your refund or exchange is being processed.

If you are returning an entire order, then we will refund the entire delivery charge. For part of an order, we will refund the appropriate part of the delivery charge. If incorrectly sent, damaged or faulty goods need to be returned to us we will cover the postage costs.

If we are providing replacement items and your original order was not incorrect, damaged or faulty then you will be charged for delivery. For example, a change of colour or size of a garment from your original order at your request.

Original Condition

If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). All items are inspected on return. In order to receive a full refund, all items must be returned to us unworn/unused and in the same condition you received them. This includes the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.

Responsibility

Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so please make sure they're packed up properly and can't get damaged on the way.

As the parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back with us, we recommend that you get proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return.
